So, once again I'm going to peace until I produce some faboo stuff or improve. It's not as if I update very regularly anyway. So I'll start trying to respond to the more throughtful comments, and leaving a few of my own. Ta for now.

Well, hard as it was to choose, I picked the one that people responded to well, and that I felt was closest to what I described- the one that "clicked" the most with me. Subjective, yes, arbitrary, no. I appreciate all the work and effort people put into these, and I'm so glad that so many of you dropped me notes to say that you had fun trying something new. Yay! If Kyndir will drop me a comment with what kind of drawing they want, of what animal/char/whatever, that would be grand. After that I'm on haitus. Ta!

I'd like to really extend my thanks to all the wonderful artists that entered- even though i may not be directly using any of these as a tattoo, I've definitely taken an incredible amount of inspiration from each of them and the different ideas they offer. They came in such a range- so many wonderful design ideas and an incredible amount of variation considering the limits I put on it.

I've also been inundated by e-mails from people saying how even if they don't win, it was a fun artistic challenge and gave them an excuse to do something a little bit different.

I appreciate all the work you guys put in to these and it was amazing to see what you all brought to the table, and trite or cliche as it is, I wish I could do something for every one of you. I assure you once I finish something for the winner, there is the strong possibility that more gift-art will be forthcoming.

I've picked the top designs that I liked the most, and I'd have a poll but I do not have a paid account. So I'll number them, and after a week the number with the most supporting comments will win. These are the ones that I felt were the most origional, aesthetically pleasing, and just kinda kicked me in the gut and made me say "there's something Right about that." Thanks to you all.

Here's how the commenting will work. I'll leave the origional ones, but then I will comment with the number of each. If you like that one, leave an answering comment to my number comments with what you liked about the peice- that way the artists can get some fun feedback and warm fuzzies as well. So if you like number x, then reply to my comment that says x, and write that you like this one, and if you want, why you like it.
